First things first, none of us have run a clothing company. We are people who love the beach and love surfing. We are part of the global community of surfers; we call it the Anomaly Republic.
Surfers are Anomalies. They are people who leave places they grew up because the ocean waves called them. They are people who get up a 5 AM and shower outside just to get a session in before driving to work. These Anomaly's schedule their precious vacations and travel around the rhythm of nature. They also uniquely understand their role in preserving and advocating for the ocean. Most of us find our peace near the ocean and find that our equilibrium is off the longer we are away from it.
Anomaly is for the people. We are building a company that about that customer. Quality, function and responsibility is our mission. It may seem counterintuitive, but we intend to build a brand that not everyone will recognize. Its OK with us if you cannot buy our clothes from a department store. In fact we prefer it.
